Eye-Fi today announced the Eye-Fi Pro, a 4GB SDHC card that supports wireless transfer of RAW images, ad-hoc network support without the need for a wireless router, and selective transfer of images. I've been waiting for Eye-Fi to support RAW for a very long time, and I was lucky enough to be one of the beta testers for this new release.
Ned Bunnell, president of Pentax Imaging USA, posted a photo on his blog of the Beatles' George Harrison playing with a Pentax camera in 1964. Ned goes on to tease that this photo provides clues about upcoming new Pentax DSLR models, including the rumored K-7 which is expected to be announced before the end of May. He talks about the "soul of a camera" as being something that can be felt and appreciated by the photographer.

The Pearl Street Mall in Boulder is one of my favorite photographic destinations, especially in spring when the tulips are in bloom. I'd like to share several photos I took today, and describe the techniques I used to capture them.
Today is day 100 of 2009 and day 100 of my Project 365 picture-a-day for a year project. Although I am woefully behind in post-processing and uploading the daily photos to my gallery, I haven't yet missed a day with the camera!

I started out with some snapshots of the local wildlife and hand-coded HTML pages. Later I tried a photoblog using Wordpress. As my photography skills improved, I moved my photos to photo-hosting site Zenfolio, and built a simple PHP front-end while I pondered what to do next.
